GFV — an international standard for professional gyms

GFV is an international certification system created to distinguish professional gyms from general fitness facilities and establish a clear global mark of quality.

Our mission is to recognize gyms that have earned professional status while giving athletes greater confidence when choosing the right place to train.

Early registration for gyms is now open

Professional gyms can already register their interest, submit initial club information, and prepare for the upcoming GFV certification process. Early registration allows clubs to be considered for the GFV platform before the full international launch.

Official website:

www.gfverified.com

Important: Early registration does not guarantee certification or placement on the GFV map. Every gym will be evaluated according to the same GFV criteria, without exception.

The GFV system and interactive map

The GFV platform is being developed with an interactive global map. It will display gyms that meet the certification criteria and help athletes identify high-quality training facilities in their own city or while traveling abroad.

Each approved club will have its own profile where it can present photos, descriptions, pricing, facilities, and other relevant information. This allows professional gyms to present themselves clearly while helping athletes make faster and more confident decisions.

For athletes

  • Interactive map with clearly marked certified gyms
  • Transparent information about services, prices, facilities, and photos
  • Greater confidence that a gym meets professional standards
  • Faster way to find reliable training facilities locally or abroad

For gyms

  • Stronger competitive position against non-certified clubs
  • Long-term reputation built through verified quality
  • Global visibility through the GFV system and map
  • Ability to manage and present the club’s own profile
  • Visible trust mark that separates serious facilities from the general market

Applied criteria

To be accepted into the GFV system and receive certification, gyms must meet clear, measurable, and uniform requirements applied equally to all applicants. The main criteria include:

  • Adequate training area and logical layout
  • Required quantity and balance of strength and cardio equipment
  • Required number of lockers, showers, and other amenities
  • Clean, orderly environment with proper training conditions
  • Professional atmosphere for athletes

Every club wishing to qualify will be provided with a clear list of criteria. This ensures fair and consistent evaluation while also helping gyms understand their strengths and areas for improvement.

Transparency and independent evaluation

To prevent conflicts of interest, the GFV system incorporates clear mechanisms that protect independent evaluation:

  • Independent experts — assessments are carried out by external specialists not linked to equipment sales or manufacturing
  • Separate GFV team — certification decisions are made by a dedicated unit independent from commercial activities
  • Public criteria — requirements are clearly defined and applied equally to every gym
  • Objective process — no equipment manufacturer or supplier can influence the results

This protects the integrity of the GFV standard and ensures that all gyms are evaluated by the same rules.

Colossus — the symbol of GFV recognition

Colossus is a monumental steel figure created as a tribute to strength, discipline, and focus. Designed in a polygonal style, it reflects true human proportions and creates a powerful visual presence.

We dedicated 12 months to designing and refining every detail so that the sculpture combines artistic character with technical precision.

Colossus is not intended for every gym. It is a visible status symbol reserved for clubs that meet professional standards and earn the right to represent GFV recognition.
